NLEX Road Warriors stay perfect with rout of Titan Ultra
NLEX Road Warriors bulldozed Titan Ultra 135-100 on Tuesday to remain unbeaten in the PBA Governors’ Cup. Chris Winston led the charge with 30 points as the Road Warriors controlled the game from start to finish. The win keeps NLEX at the top of the standings early in the new conference.
How NLEX put Titan Ultra away
NLEX opened the game with a 30-24 first quarter and never looked back. The Road Warriors stretched the lead to 61-43 by halftime, then pushed it to 97-82 after three quarters. Titan Ultra never threatened, and NLEX closed the game with a 38-point fourth quarter. Winston’s 30 points led four NLEX players in double figures, while Sean Manganti added 22 off the bench.
Titan Ultra’s best effort came from Mikey Brown, who scored 27 points. But the rest of the lineup struggled, with only Jarelle Munzon (17) and Jayson Sajonia (11) reaching double digits. The loss drops Titan Ultra to 0-1 in the Governors’ Cup.

NLEX shot 52% from the field and hit 11 three-pointers. Winston led the way with 30 points, followed by Scottie Thompson with 29 and Jones with 22. The bench chipped in 30 points, with Manganti’s 22 leading the reserves. On defense, NLEX forced 18 turnovers and held Titan Ultra to 40% shooting.
Titan Ultra’s Brown led all scorers with 27, but the team shot just 38% overall. The loss was their first of the conference, and they’ll need a quick turnaround to stay competitive.
